2024 is the year of Czech Music which is reflected in the program of our entire season. We are commemorating the bicentenary of the birth of Bedřich Smetana, which is why we are dedicating a series of concerts suitable for families with children to one of the most important Czech composers.
Through parts of the symphonic poems from the series My Homeland, the individual instruments will be introduced with the interactive involvement of the audience. We will learn what the lullaby for the sleeping knights of Blanik sounds like, how the Maiden's War turned out, which song did the Hussites fought the enemy with, the story of the Vltava river and much more. Viktor Braunreiter, everyones favorite host will guide us through the concert.
